Worried About Writing Sales Posts?

I had the privilege of meeting Teflon Tony last week.

I wanted a small under-the-counter fridge to keep my food cold.

Funny that!

Tony, however, had different ideas.

He knew I needed the super shiny Cool Deluxe (I've made up this name, as my attention had drifted off at this point).

A beast of a fridge, big enough for a small village (there are two of us and a dog, and the dog only stores carrots in the fridge!)

But Teflon Tony knew this was the fridge for me.

It was cool, modern and expensive.

Massive!

It would keep our food extra cold and... well, that was it really.

Unsurprisingly, I didn't buy a fridge from Tony.

Despite his great patter and Teflon shiny salesman exterior.

But I knew what it was like, to be sold to.

I would have quite happily bought the small boring, keep your food cold, under the counter fridge, there and then.

But I guess that's not what Tony wanted to sell.

So, next time you're worried about writing a sales post.

Remember, people don't mind being sold to if you are being helpful and if what you have, is what they want to buy.

Have a great week :)

P.S. I made up the name Tony, as I could find anything that went well with Jeff. Feel free to let me know if you can.
